Fans of the Bayonetta series have been eagerly waiting for more information about the latest entry in the series, especially since Bayonetta 3 was actually announced during The Game Awards presentation all the way back in December of 2017.

Some fans may even be a tad concerned, thinking that PlatinumGames may have possibly pulled the plug on this long-awaited sequel to the phenomenal Bayonetta 2, but new information coming from the creator of the Bayonetta series may help fans sleep better at night.

Bayonetta series creator Hideki Kamiya was recently asked when we would be hearing some news about Bayonetta 3, and Kamiya simply replied with a "Development’s going really well. There you go." While this may not be the kind of answer that fans may have been wanting, this at the very least reassures that the game hasn't been cancelled or anything like that.

PlatinumGames is well-known for delivering top quality products, and them taking their time with the development of Bayonetta 3 is more than enough reason to trust that this, like both previous entries in the series, will be a fantastic game.

Bayonetta 3 is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch.
