There's no denying that the EA Originals initiative is one of the best thing that has happened to EA (and therefore players) in the last couple of years, giving gamers a unique chance to play middle-budget gems like
A Way Out, Fe, and
Unravel. While
Sea of Solitude was announced during last year's E3, we still know next to nothing about that brand-new EA Originals title – as it has been officially delayed.
Sea of Solitude was supposed to hit stores in "early 2019," but that plan has changed, with the upcoming third-person exploration title from Jo-Mei Games now releasing at some point this summary.
"
We almost touch the finish line! As some fans sensed we take a BIT longer to happily ship SOS instead of sobbing uncontrollably during release,"
Sea of Solitude Director and Writer Cornelia Geppert said on Twitter. Given that EA is just around the corner, we may learn more about
Sea soon.
This year's E3 will be also a good opportunity to reveal
Sea of Solitude's exact release date and new details on Jo-Mei Games' tale about fighting humans turned into actual monsters by their depression.
When humans get too lonely, they turn into monsters. That’s what happened to Kay. But she’s not alone – this ocean is full of creatures just like her. Finding them may be the key to changing her back. Sea of Solitude is an upcoming third-person exploration game from Jo-Mei Games. Join Kay as she navigates the waters of heartache, empathy, and hope.
Sea of Solitude is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this summer.
