Developed by Yuke's and published by D3 Publisher, Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain — the latest entry in the long-running Earth Defense Force series — was finally released in April of this year for the PlayStation 4; after having been delayed back in 2018.

Today, the developer has announced that Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain will also be releasing on PC(Steam); next week, no less, becoming available on Tuesday the 15th of October; bringing with it all of the elements that have made the series a classic.

Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain will feature a lot of content to keep players coming back to the game, with over 50 challenging missions where they'll have to fight giant bug-like aliens. Players can also play with friends in split-screen co-op, or be joined by their friends in Online Co-op or Versus Mode.

Save the world without hope. Year 2040. An action TPS where you will become one of the EDF soldiers and fight against the invaders from outer space which ruined the world. In the world settings which differs from the original "EARTH DEFENSE FORCE" series, more than 50 missions in five difficulties await for your challenge.

Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain will become available on Steam on the 15th of October.
