Publisher Focus Home Interactive has shared
World War Z’s launch trailer, giving you a chance to take a closer look at the Saber Interactive-created title before it releases on April 16 for PS4, Xbox One & PC.
At its core,
World War Z is an indirect adaptation of Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film starring Brad Pitt from 2013. While you're not playing as Mr. Pitt in the actual game, you will still have a chance to make tactical use of traps, barriers, and even the environment to slow down the hordes of the undead - or just straight shoot them all. The fact that you can fight the hungry undead with three other players in seamless co-op will definitely make the whole experience a bit more fun, as it almost always does.
In
World War Z, you will try to survive all around the globe, including locations in Tokyo, New York, Jerusalem, and Moscow. Considering that Saber's own game engine is reportedly capable of throwing over 500 zombies at you at any given time, this particular sightseeing trip will be a pretty intense one.
Without further ado, be sure to take a closer look at Saber Interactive's

Play in co-op with up to 3 friends using six distinct classes and an arsenal of deadly weapons, explosives, turrets and traps to demolish the undead menace and survive another day.
