Sniper Elite V2 will return later this year in its all-new
Remastered edition, featuring not only some much-desired improvements (including a brand new photo mode, playable characters, and a proper multiplayer component), but also complete visual overhaul with 4K and HDR support.
Developer Rebellion has released a bunch of never-before-seen screenshots from
Sniper Elite V2 Remastered, allowing us to take a look at the developer's take on the Battle of Berlin in April–May 1945. In
V2, you play an American Office of Strategic Services officer who must do his best to capture or eliminate the scientists involved in the German V-2 rocket program whilst the Red Army's invasion.
The upcoming remaster is not the only major video game Rebellion is currently working on, as the British studio is also developing a Nintendo Switch port of
Sniper Elite III, a special VR experience set in the
SE universe, and even a full-blown sequel to 2017's
