Earlier this month, Nintendo streamed their Nintendo Direct presentation for the month of September, revealing a bunch of new titles that would be releasing on the Nintendo Switch in the coming months; both from third and first party developers.
Capcom took this opportunity to announce that
Devil may Cry 2 — the second title in their critically acclaimed hack and slash series — was also going to be releasing on the Nintendo Switch on the
19th of September.
As of today, the first two titles in Capcom's acclaimed
Devil May Cry series are available on the Nintendo Switch — which players can easily purchase from the Nintendo Switch eShop; with each game costing players a total of $19.99 USD.
With
Devil May Cry and
Devil May Cry 2 currently available on the Nintendo Switch eShop, we can only hope for Capcom to release the remaining two titles; considering that
Devil May Cry 5 may prove a little bit too demanding for the Nintendo Switch's hardware.
Set some time after the events of Devil May Cry, this sequel adds even more moves to Dante's arsenal and brings it to the next level of stylishness. Use the wall run to get the vantage point on your enemies, then assault them with a spinning barrage of bullets using Rain Storm. Reprise your role as Dante, or play as the new femme fatale, Lucia, who prefers deadly throwing daggers to bullets and utilizes her speed with ninja-like reflexes.
Devil May Cry 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch today.
