First announced during Ubisoft's E3 presentation last year, Gods & Monsters was originally revealed to be a storybook adventure game that was expected to release early in 2020; before the game launched, however, the developer revealed that the game was being delayed indefinitely.
A few weeks ago, we discovered that Gods & Monsters was seemingly being renamed to Immortals: Fenyx Rising, and Ubisoft was quick to make it official, although they mentioned that more information would be revealed at a later date.
Today, during the special Ubisoft Forward presentation, the developer shared new information about Immortals: Fenyx Rising, revealing the main reason behind the name change, details about this third-person action-adventure title, and showing off the game's beautiful, and colourful graphics.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising will see players wielding the power of the Gods of Olympus, from powers themselves to weapons of legend. On top of this, they will also fight mythological creatures, and explore a vast open world with the wings of Daidalos, not to mention finding puzzles to solve along the way.
Ubisoft has also confirmed that Immortals: Fenyx Rising will be releasing on Thursday the 3rd of December for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC(Epic Games Store), and Stadia. With the announcement, Ubisoft also took the opportunity to share an action-packed trailer for the game, which will surely make fans excited for the release of Immortals: Fenyx Rising.
