During last year's E3, LEGO and TT Games announced LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga — which, as the name very appropriately suggests, covers the events that took place throughout all of the nine episodes in the popular Star Wars franchise created by George Lucas.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, other than featuring all nine of the movies in the epic Star Wars series, also features the charm that LEGO games are so well-known for, so fans of both series are definitely in for a treat when the game finally becomes available.
Which brings us to the next point. Exactly when is it that the game is finally releasing? Since LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was announced, the developers have only revealed that the game is expected to release at some point in 2020, but no official date.
As it turns out, we finally have an official date, and the information comes from the latest episode of This Week in Star Wars on the official Star Wars YouTube channel, although the video is currently set to private, where it was revealed that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga would be hitting store shelves on the 20th of October.
With that said, the latest episode of This Week in Star Wars video that was set to private has been re-uploaded to the Star Wars YouTube channel, although this time the release date has been completely omitted. Should we believe the original episode? Were they not supposed to reveal the game's release date? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think.
