MARVEL's Avengers has been in the eye of video game players pretty much since it was first announced in January of 2017, under the then Project Avengers moniker, and is finally only a mere week away from finally hitting store shelves; becoming available on Friday the 4th of September, to be more precise.
Square Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics have already revealed quite a bunch of juicy details that should make players excited for the release, but they are still very committed to keep players posted on every new detail they may have missed, perhaps intentionally, about MARVEL's Avengers.
Over the past few weeks, leading up to the game's highly anticipated release, the developers have been livestreaming a couple of War Table presentations, which have revealed details about gameplay mechanics, post-launch characters, the game's Beta, and other relevant information.
We are only one week and a half away from the launch of MARVEL's Avengers, and Square Enix has announced that the game will get one final War Table presentation a few days before the game releases. According to the official information, the next War Table will be livestreamed on Tuesday the 1st of September at 10:00 AM Pacific Time / 1:00 PM Eastern Time / 3:00 PM British Summer Time.
The developers haven't revealed what kind of information they will be sharing, especially since it seemed like they had already revealed pretty much everything there is to know about it. Maybe they will openly talk about post-launch characters and even give us a look at Hawkeye in action.
Could we see Spider-Man finally being revealed? Chances are that this will not be the case, sicne Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are still hoping to sell the game on consoles other than PlayStation, but it would definitely be pretty amazing if they did reveal him. We'll have to patiently wait until next Tuesday to find out.
Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
MARVEL's Avengers will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on Friday the 4th of September; PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release date to be determined.
