Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix's highly anticipated MARVEL's Avengers is finally hitting store shelves next week, and becoming available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on Friday the 4th of September; putting an end to what has felt like a very long wait.
The developers have done their best to reveal every possible detail pertaining the highly anticipated MARVEL's Avengers game, and fans have been impatiently waiting until the game finally becomes available. Just recently, in fact, some got the chance to actually play it, as the open beta took place this past weekend.
MARVEL's Avengers will give players the chance to play as Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, and Kamala Khan(a.k.a. Ms. Marvel) at launch, although Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have already revealed that more heroes will be added to the game after the launch.
Amongst those characters we have Hawkeye and Spider-Man, although the web-slinger has been confirmed to be a PlayStation exclusive — which has a vocal majority of fans disappointed due to character exclusivity even being a thing for a game as big as this one.
Today, and now that we are only a week away from the release, Square Enix has released an action-packed trailer for MARVEL's Avengers, which sees Earth's Mightiest Heroes assembling to save the world from A.I.M., the criminal organisation that serves as the game's main antagonists.
Unfortunately, this launch trailer for MARVEL's Avengers doesn't give us a look at neither Hawkeye nor Spider-Man in action, so we will have to keep patiently waiting until the developers decide to officially reveal more information about post-launch characters.

Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
MARVEL's Avengers will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on Friday the 4th of September; PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release date to be determined.
