The developers at Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have taken their sweet time to reveal everything there is to know about the soon-to-be-released MARVEL's Avengers, which has helped players get even more excited for the upcoming action-adventure title.
MARVEL's Avengers will give players the opportunity to play as their favourite members from the heroic team, and fight the villainous A.I.M. criminal organisation in order to prevent them from conquering the world. If that sounds like an Avengers-level threat, is because it is.
We already know that the Avengers that will be available at launch are Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, and Ms. Marvel — some of which have become household names thanks to insanely popular films by Marvel Studios.
The Avengers that are part of the game — or at least at launch — will be Crystal Dynamics' own take on the Earth's Mightiest Heroes, though, making things exciting and interesting for both fans and newcomers.
While most people are already familiar with the Avengers seen in the movies, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have decided to release some fun little videos that introduce us to the team.
Yesterday, it was Tony Stark's turn to star in his own "Superior Seminars" video, and today is none other than The Incredible Hulk's turn to shine. What makes this even funnier is that it is Hulk himself the one who tells you about his incredible moveset; using nothing but groans. Hilarious.
Take a look:
Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
MARVEL's Avengers will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on Friday the 4th of September; PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release date to be determined.
