When a new character is added to Marvel's Avengers, alternate costumes tend to follow, and that looks set to be the case with Spider-Man as well. In a recent Twitch live stream (starting around the 9:00 mark), Crystal Dynamics shared a first look at the skins you'll be able to swing into action wearing as the wall-crawler on PlayStation versions of the game.
The main costume is a modernised take on the classic red and blue suit which primarily takes inspiration from comic book artist John Romita Sr. However, you'll also find the true "original" costume from the comic books which is based on Steve Ditko's iconic design.
Elsewhere, there's the Spider-Armor MK I from 1993, the Spider-Armor MK III from 2012's "Ends of the Earth" storyline, a new take on Spidey called the "Bugle Boy" that meshes Peter Parker with the web-slinger, Spider-Man Noir, and that popular suit from 2004's Secret War event designed by Gabriele Dell’Otto.
Some of these you'll remember from Marvel's Spider-Man on the PS4, but it's not a bad selection, and there's enough here to please fans of all eras.
