Since the game's release in September, players have been practically begging for new content or, at the very least, a road map to be announced for Marvel's Avengers. With the game being out for only a few months, players have reported bugs, connection issues, problems with the characters, and more, which is a shame due to how much fun each hero's gameplay is.
The cost of feeling like one of earth's mightiest heroes has been high, but it looks like all of that hard work is finally going to pay off! With the issues the game has had, developers over at Crystal Dynamics have been hard at work to get the game to where it should have been at launch, and because of that, most of the upcoming DLC was pushed back without any word of when to expect new content. Thankfully there is now a light at the end of a tunnel of patch notes.
A brand new War Table (video updates on what is to come for the game) has been released and focuses entirely on the first DLC character, Kate Bishop, Hawkeye's student and perhaps even a better archer! The video highlights a new game mode, "operations," and how her story and introduction tie into a larger narrative. The update will also feature the classic Marvel villain, the Super Adaptoid. Along with new gear and a moves break down of Kate.
The video closed with a sneak peek of what is to come with the next DLC character, Hawkeye, and it's an update no fan will want to miss. Make sure to check it out below, and don't forget to tell us your thoughts in the comments!
Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Kate Bishop will be available to download for free on Marvel's Avengers on December 8th!
