It sure is exciting for
Mega Man fans to see Capcom really paying attention to the Mega Man series, especially since most of them thought Capcom was already done with it. So far, the developer has released
Legacy Collections for both the original
Mega Man and
Mega Man X series.
In fact,
Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 led to the development of
Mega Man 11, which is a game that fans never thought they'd have the chance to play.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2, on the other hand, has paved the way for the long-awaited
Mega Man X9, but only time will tell.
Capcom even announced, in August of this year, that they were working on a
Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, and it seems that they are really going all out with this one — much like they did in the previous collections, to be quite fair — by revealing that a bunch of new features will be added to keep things fresh for fans.
Today, Capcom has released yet another trailer for
Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, focusing entirely on Zero — the Red Hero himself — and showing off some of his skills with his Z Saber, as well as his moveset in general.
Check it out:
Six games, five heroes, and two series megamerge into one giant collection! Taking legendary Reploids into the far future, join Zero as he battles against the forces of Neo Arcadia, then witness the rise of a new generation looking to carve out their own story. Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection brings the intense action of Mega Man Zerothrough Mega Man Zero 4 as well as Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent to modern platforms.
Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection will be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC on the 25th of February in 2020.
