Great news for fans of the original Nioh, as Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have just released a brand-new, and action packed trailer for Nioh 2. Not only that, but they also revealed that the game is expected to release — exclusively for the PlayStation 4— early in 2020.

With the new trailer, the people over at Koei Tecmo have also released a batch of in-game screenshots for Nioh 2, which are actually taken from the game's opening level; a level that the developers called "The Village of Cursed Blossoms" and that will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show event.

Earlier this year Koei Tecmo revealed that Nioh had already sold a very respectable 25 million copies worldwide, and it seems that Team Ninja are also going all out with Nioh 2; if the new trailer is anything to go by, that is.
