Ghost of Tsushima has been one of the games that players have been very excited about pretty much since it was first announced. Sucker Punch announced the action-adventure title during the Paris Games Week in 2017, and it is finally getting released this July as a PlayStation 4 exclusive title.

Sucker Punch has released a fair share of trailers for Ghost of Tsushima, as well as gameplay that looks absolutely stunning from visual standpoint — no to mention that gameplay itself looks also pretty great — and this has also made players even more excited for the game.

Unfortunately, the project has not been devoid of issues, which prompted Sucker Punch to delay the game — which would've initially seen the game releasing in on the 26th of June. The good news is that the delay wasn't indefinite, and Ghost of Tsusihma is now finally launching on the 17th of July.

Today PlayStation has announced that a new State of Play presentation will be streamed this Thursday at 1:00PM Pacific Time, and it will be focusing entirely on Sucker Punch's highly anticipated Ghost of Tsushima.

We don't know how long the presentation will be, but players should expect to see more gameplay, and hopefully more information about the game itself; be it story, characters, and maybe even confirmation that Ghost of Tsushima will be releasing for the PlayStation 5.

In 1274, the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the Japanese island of Tsushima and slaughters its legendary samurai defenders. Jin Sakai is one of the last survivors of a noble samurai clan. To combat his overwhelming foes, he must pioneer deadly new fighting techniques--the way of The Ghost--and wage an unconventional war for the people of Japan.

Ghost of Tsushima is expected to release exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on the 17th of July.
