Koji Igarashi's
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is finally almost here. After being delayed a few times in the past, players will finally be able to play Koji Igarashi's spiritual successor to the Castlevania series — when the game releases for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on the
18th of June, and on the
25th of June for the Nintendo Switch.
These delays have not been for nothing, though, since the developers took their time to listen to complaints/suggestions from people who have been following the project closely; addressing every single one of their concerns and working hard to give both
Castlevania fans and backers what they want out of this brand-new game.
Today we have even more good news, as pre-orders for
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night have just become available with a brand-new trailer. Players who pre-order on Steam will get a 10% discount, whereas PlayStation 4 users will get an exclusive dynamic theme. PlayStation Plus subscribers will also get a generous 10% discount when they pre-order.
505 Games has also revealed that
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will be getting a ton of post-launch free downloadable content — including extra modes like boss rush, speed run, nightmare difficulty, and more — so there are still a lot of surprises for players to look forward to in the coming months.
