During the Inside Xbox presentation that was streamed last week, a bunch of independent and Triple-A developers took the opportunity to reveal some of the games that they had been working on, and that are expected to launch for the next generation of consoles.

Scarlet Nexus was one of the games revealed during this presentation, which is a brand-new intellectual property developed by Bandai Namco that was revealed to release for the Xbox Series X — although the developer didn't give us an official release date for this new action-adventure title.

Like many of the games that are shown in these kind of presentations, Scarlet Nexus was also rumoured to release for other platforms, although the game's official announcement trailer only classified it as a Xbox Series X; the trailer also said that the footage being shown was representative of expected Xbox Series X gameplay.

As it turns out, Scarlet Nexus will be releasing for other platforms too, and this was revealed by a trailer released on Bandai Namco's official YouTube channel for Southeast Asia —  in which it was confirmed that the game would not only be launching for the Xbox Series X and Xbox One, but also on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The trailer is exactly the same as the one we all got to watch here in the West, but it is the trailer's title itself that gives this information away. Regardless, it is good to know that Scarlet Nexus will also be releasing for other platforms.

In a far distant future, a psionic hormone was discovered in the human brain, granting people extra-sensory powers and changing the world as we know it. Just as humanity was entering this new era, deranged mutants known as Others began to descend from the sky with a thirst for human brains. Highly resistant to conventional attack methods, extreme measures needed to be taken to battle the overwhelming threat and preserve humanity.

Scarlet Nexus still doesn't have an official release date, but is expected to launch for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
