Sharpen your weapons, as From Software's next big thing –
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice – releases this Friday for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. While the title was technically officially announced at last year's E3 in June, there's no denying that the Japanese studio seems to enjoy playing their cards close to their chest quite a bit, with some pretty fundamental details on the
Souls-like title still being a mystery.
To make the wait a bit easier, PS Underground and IGN have recently released two all-new
Shadows Die Twice videos, both filled with never-before-seen gameplay footage. The first one is focused entirely on infiltrating the Hirata Estates, a special sidequest that takes place three years before the main events, shedding new light on Sekiro's relationship with an enigmatic character known as the "young lord".
The second video is also a pretty interesting one, as it gives us a chance to learn more about the game's opening scenes, so better avoid watching it if you're not a fan of spoilers. Instead, you can take a look at the beautiful cover of this week's Famitsu Magazine that puts the spotlight on the One-Armed Wolf:
In Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice you are the “one-armed wolf”, a disgraced and disfigured warrior rescued from the brink of death. Bound to protect a young lord who is the descendant of an ancient bloodline, you become the target of many vicious enemies, including the dangerous Ashina clan. When the young lord is captured, nothing will stop you on a perilous quest to regain your honor, not even death itself.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will launch on March 22, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
