Last Sunday, Devolver Digital and Flying Wild hog announced Shadow Warrior 3, with a cheeky teaser trailer that showed series main protagonist Lo Wang showing off some of his new gadgets, like his brand-new grappling hook, and also fighting some monsters.
The teaser trailer for Shadow Warrior 3 was quite effective in getting fans of the series excited for this new entry, although much information about the game itself wasn't really revealed; Devolver Digital did promise that more information would be revealed later on.
Earlier today, Devolver Digital hosted a Direct presentation in which they finally released the over the top, and action-packed gameplay trailer that Shadow Warrior 3 rightfully deserves; confirming that the game is expected to launch on PC(Steam) at some point in 2021.
Shadow Warrior 3 being announced is actually quite the big news for fans, especially now that they're finally getting two sequels almost in a row; considering that the first Shadow Warrior came out in 1997, and Shadow Warrior 2 was released in 2016; yes, almost 20 years later.
No information on whether Shadow Warrior 3 will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox one — or their next-gen counterparts, for that matter — but Shadow Warrior 2 was eventually ported to consoles, so it is very likely that this new game will not be the exception.
