Square Enix has released the second launch trailer for
Left Alive, giving us a chance to take a closer look at the shooter's dark and gritty world. According to the studio
, Left Alive's main storyline is told form the perspectives of Staff Sergeant Mikhail, Police Captain Olga, and Leonid, a troubled ex-solider.
Left Alive is available for PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam) right now, but we will have to wait for the first wave of official reviews for quite some time, as Square Enix has recently had some major problems with the game's online infrastructure. Just like the
Dark Souls trilogy,
Left Alive features a special map that allows you to see where other players have died to avoid making the same (deadly) mistakes.
Considering that
Left Alive was made by Nabeshima Toshifumi, who directed the original
Armored Core, with the help of Art Designer Yoji Shinkawa (
Metal Gear Solid) and Illustrator Takayuki Yanase (
Xenoblade Chronicles X), you definitely should keep an eye on this brand new
Front Mission spin-off.
