We have some exciting news for players who have been anticipating the release of
Streets of Rage 4, as Dotemu has revealed that the sequel to Sega's iconic beat 'em up series will be releasing this Spring. The developer didn't say exactly when, but this narrows the releae window down quite a bit.
The information actually comes from a brand-new gameplay trailer for
Streets of Rage 4, which introduces players to Floyd Iraia — who is the second original playable character to be introduced in the game, as well as the final character to be added.
With Floyd Iraia introduced as a playable character, the game is giving players the chance to play as series veterans Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding, and Adam Hunter, as well as newcomer Cherry Hunter — who happens to be Adam's daughter.
As if that wasn't enough, Dotemu has also announced that
Street of Rage 4 will be featuring online multiplayer that will allow players to be joined by a friend, as well as 4-player local multiplayer; a first for the long-running
Streets of Rage series.

Streets of Rage 4 will be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in Spring of 2020.
