Developer FreakZone Games and Cinemassacre have shared a new trailer for The Angry Video Game Nerd I & II Deluxe, reminding players that the unforgiving, retro 2D platformer has finally become available on the Nintendo Switch and Steam.
As the name appropriately suggests, The Angry Video Game Nerd I & II Deluxe is the deluxe version of both 2D platformer titles based on The Angry Video Game Nerd series, created by popular YouTuber James Rolfe, that were originally released in 2013 and 2016, respectively.
Both Angry Video Game Nerd games are classic '80s and '90s platformers, almost to the point to being insanely difficult to the point of frustration. With that said, the games are not really unfair to players, but they will give players quite the challenge.
The Angry Video Game Nerd I & II Deluxe, however, is an enhanced version of the original games — adding a bunch of features go from enhanced visuals to new difficulty options that make the games a little bit more forgiving than their original counterparts.
On top of this, the developers at FreakZone Games have also added a brand-new final chapter, so players will definitely get a pretty good run for their money when they finally get their hands on The Angry Video Game Nerd I & II Deluxe; a proper "Remasturd", the Angry Video Game Nerd would say.
