Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an all-new, dark, and twisted gameplay experience that's being developed at From Software, the acclaimed
Dark Souls and
Bloodborne creators.
Sekiro will allow players to enter the brutal world of late 1500s Sengoku Japan, a bloody period of never-stopping life-and-death conflict. As the tension rises, a compelling story will unfold amongst the uncontrolled, spreading chaos.
Activision has released a new story trailer for
Sekiro that gives us a chance to learn more about the relationship between the titular hero and his master. In the game, Sekiro will embark on a dangerous journey to rescue his sensei and exact revenge on his arch nemesis with his battle-hardened katana and useful prosthetic arm, that works like a feudal version of Rico Rodriguez's grappling hook.
Considering that
Sekiro will be finally released next month, we should learn a whole more about From Software's next big thing in the coming weeks, as
Shadows is only one of the three mysterious projects that the acclaimed Japanese company is currently working on. Be sure to check out the latest and simply beautifully executed
