Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be officially revealed during this year's Star Wars Celebration on Saturday, but it looks like Amazon has decided to start the spoiling party early and revealed the Respawn Entertainment-created game's key art. The image originates from a t-shirt listing (you can purchase it for $22.99) with the "
official poster" stamped right on it, so there's a chance it's legitimate.
Considering that we know that the player will take on the role of a despaired Jedi who has managed to survive the execution of the (in)famous Order 66, it seems that Respawn will try to tell a more mature story. Furthermore, the fact that this mysterious hero (accompanied by a droid) is traversing a stone-cold planet only with a lightsaber in their hand suggests a quite different take on the
Star Wars series.
Those who have had an opportunity to play
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed probably remember a pretty awesome piece of art that featured Starkiller taking down a Star Destroyer with the power of his will, so the crashed starship lying in the new art's background definitely brings back fond memories.
Without further ado, take a closer look at the all-new
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order key art down below:
From Respawn Entertainment comes a brand-new action adventure game which tells an original Star Wars story around a surviving Padawan set shortly after the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be releasing Holiday 2019.
