Yakuza: Like a Dragon, the seventh entry in the critically acclaimed Yakuza series by Sega and Ryū ga Gotoku, is only a few weeks away from releasing here in the West, but there are even more reasons to be excited for the release, as the game has also been confirmed for Xbox platforms.
What's more, Sega and Yakuza series developer Ryū ga Gotoku have also confirmed that the Xbox Series X/S version of Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be launching three days before the game becomes available on other platforms; this is, of course, in order to coincide with the launch of Microsoft's next-gen console on Tuesday the 10th of November.
Since Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be launching on both current and next-gen consoles, it is to be expected that this particular version will give players an enhanced experience of the game, and the latest trailer showcases just how great it will look on Xbox Series X/S. Plus, as if an enhanced version wasn't reason enough to purchase it, it will feature next-gen crustacean!
It is also worth mentioning that the PlayStation 5 version of Yakuza: Like a Dragon is scheduled to release on Tuesday the 2nd of March in 2021, so the only way to enjoy the game in all of its next-gen glory, at least for a solid 4 months, is by playing it on either the Xbox SeriesX or the Xbox Series S.
