Grinding Gear Games has officially confirmed the full reveal for Path of Exile 2’s Patch 0.4.0, titled The Last of the Druids. The highly anticipated update will be showcased during a special GGG Live broadcast on December 4th at 11 AM PST on twitch.tv/pathofexile and yes, Twitch Drops will be active.
Patch 0.4.0 is one of the biggest updates yet for PoE2’s early access period, and players already have a lot to be excited about, including the debut of the werewolf form for the upcoming Druid class. Check some more details about the reveal and what to expect below:

When Can You Play Patch 0.4.0?

Even better, GGG is making Path of Exile 2 free to play for three days on all platforms beginning December 12th. Anyone who participates will gain full access to all content currently in PoE2, including everything added in Patch 0.4.0.
Twitch Drops: How to Unlock the Verdant Wilds Dodge Roll Effect
To celebrate the livestream, GGG is offering a brand-new cosmetic reward: the Verdant Wilds Dodge Roll Effect.
Here’s how to get it:
When:
Start: December 4 at 11 AM PST
End: December 5 at 11 AM PST
How:
- Link your Twitch and Path of Exile accounts
- Watch 45 minutes of any livestream in the Path of Exile 2 category (including the main GGG stream)
- Claim your reward via Twitch
Co-streaming is fully allowed, meaning any streamer broadcasting PoE2 content will count toward the Drop timer.
While GGG is keeping most features for the news season under wraps until the livestream, the teaser gave us a look at the werewolf form and a hint of what druids will be like. Werewolf form for the Druid class will be in the update for sure. There have also been rumors from some people that think there could possibly be a wyvern form. However we will have to wait and see what it is.
That said, GGG is known for massive reveals during livestreams, so Patch 0.4.0 could still include surprises that we were not expecting.
