Embark Studios has deployed another small but important update for ARC Raiders. Patch 1.24.0 went live on April 14, 2026, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. While it does not add new content, the patch focuses on stability improvements and fixes several lingering issues ahead of the larger Riven Tides update expected at the end of the month.
This follows the recent Flashpoint update and the addition of the Vanguard cosmetic set last week. With plans to support the game for the next decade, Embark continues to deliver regular hotfixes alongside its bigger seasonal content drops.
ARC Raiders Update 1.24.0 Patch Notes
Here are all the changes included in today’s patch:
- Addressed several issues that could cause the game to crash.
- Fixed an issue where the Vanguard Set caused model stretching for other players.
- Fixed an issue that could cause players and ARC enemies to sound quieter than intended when there is no line of sight on Stella Montis.
- Fixed an issue causing blurry visuals when AMD FSR Frame Generation was enabled.
- Fixed an edge case where ziplines could be placed on carriables located on the edge of a ledge while the player was below the ledge.
- Fixed an issue where hold-to-use items (such as bandages) could activate automatically if a quick slot swap was interrupted by pressing the fire key.
Additionally, Embark addressed the Weather Monitor Station Project that was suddenly removed during the Flashpoint update. Players who contributed to it but could not complete it in time are advised to check their in-game inbox in the next few days for compensation. The studio also reminded everyone that the current High-Gain Antenna Project will expire before the Riven Tides update launches.
While patch 1.24.0 is relatively light on new features, it serves as a stability tune-up before the next major content update. According to the 2026 roadmap shared in January, Riven Tides (expected around April 28) will bring:
- A brand-new map
- A new large-scale ARC enemy type (comparable in scale to the Queen or Matriarch)
- The departure of the third Expedition
One persistent community complaint that was not addressed in this patch is the extreme darkness in certain daytime variations of the Stella Montis map. Players with OLED monitors in particular have reported visibility problems in some sections, even during day raids. Embark has not yet commented on potential lighting adjustments for that map.
Overall, update 1.24.0 should result in a smoother experience for raiders, especially those using AMD FSR Frame Generation or frequently encountering the Vanguard Set in multiplayer. With Riven Tides on the horizon, the studio continues its pattern of consistent support following each major content drop.
