Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions was announced last month — to the surprise of many, to be quite fair — by Bandai Namco and developer Tamsoft; a game that is based on the new iteration of the popular
Captain Tsubasa series of manga and anime.
Although the
Captain Tsubasa series is very well known in South America, the Middle East, and Europe, but North American audiences haven't been quite as exposed to it as other continents — which would've been problematic when it came to releasing the game to an audience that has no idea what the series even is.
In fact, Bandai Namco revealed that
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions was initially only going to release in South America — besides Asia, of course — but due to its particular gameplay, it was decided that the game would be released worldwide.
Today, Bandai Namco has released yet another action-packed trailer for
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions — which introduces players to the main characters in the upcoming football title; giving us a look at some of the over the top football shots the series is known for.
