One of the things that players noticed, almost immediately, when they were shown the first gameplay footage for
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, was the fact that the game was very faithfully recreating some iconic scenes from the
Dragon Ball Z series.
Bandai Namco's new take on the
Dragon Ball mythos will see players taking the role of Goku(and some of the Z warriors, most likely) and reliving some of the most iconic moments from the Saiyan and Frieza sagas in an open-world game that also features some role-playing elements.
The graphics in
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot are also quite polished, giving the look a slightly more current aesthetic than that seen in the original series, as well as making everything look crisp; needless to say, the game looks fantastic from an art standpoint.
Bandai Namco is, once again, showing off some of these graphics by releasing some in-game high definition screenshots for
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot; this time, focusing on the Saiyan saga and giving us even better looks at Raditz, Nappa, Piccolo, Vegeta, Gohan, and Goku.
Take a look:
