If you previously signed up to participate in the Elden Ring: Nightreign Network Test, go check your email. FromSoftware has delivered at least the first batch of codes.
Sign up to participate in the Network Test were open last month, but are unfortunately closed now. So if you didn't already apply, the likelihood of getting a code is probably low — unless you happen to know someone who signed up with multiple emails and received multiple codes.
The Network Test is described as "a preliminary verification test in which the selected testers play a portion of the game prior to the full game launch."
"Various technical verifications of online systems will be examined by conducting large-scale network load tests," Bandai Namco explained.
The Network Test is only available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and is scheduled to take place February 14-16. Unfortunately, the Network Test will not be available all day but is instead being broken into sessions. These sessions will run for just a few hours throughout the weekend. Bandai Namco has already released the test schedule, so plan accordingly.
Elden Ring: Nightreign Network Test Schedule
- Session 1: Feb 14th, 3am to 6 am PT
- Session 2: Feb 14th, 7pm to 10 pm PT
- Session 3: Feb 15th, 11am to 2pm PT

Elden Ring: Nightreign was first unveiled at The Game Awards back in December. A spin-off of the critically acclaimed and award-winning Elden Ring, the game is described as a "condensed action RPG" in which players team up to survive a three-day-and-night cycle in the ever-changing map of Limveld.
As a co-op PvE adventure, players must make split decisions about combat and exploration during the day with the goal of becoming strong enough to take down a terrifying boss that awaits at night. If the party successfully defeats the nighttime boss, they will awaken to bigger challenges. At the end of the third night comes the Night's Tide where they will face off against the chosen Nightlord.
As a follow-up to one of the greatest games of all time, there's an incredible amount of excitement leading up to the release of Elden Ring: Nightreign and this Network Test will be the first time many players will get to go hands-on with it.
There are reports that the media have already been given early access and that previews will be published this week ahead of the Network Test. Bandai Namco and FromSoftware are also expected to share gameplay details and possibly a release date for the game sometime this week.
While the Network Test is only available on consoles, Elden Ring: Nightreign will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
