Goichi "Suda51" Suda, the mastermind behind Shadows of the Damned, Lollipop Chainsaw, and Killer Is Dead, has never tried to hide his passion for the No More Heroes franchise. While last year's spin-off of the main cycle, titled Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, left many players quite disappointed, it looks like the long-rumored third entry in the main series might be announced during this year's E3.

Considering that the Nintendo Switch exclusive’s ending hinted strongly at a threequel, Suda51's latest interview with Siliconera seems to confirm that No More Heroes 3's announcement is imminent. When asked about Travis Strikes Again's epilogue, Suda51 said "I wonder what that was myself. It might be Travis messing around. [Laughs] I hope around E3 time I’ll have something cool to announce."

Suda51's recent statement wasn't even the first time we've heard about his huge desire to make a sequel to No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, as he recently revealed that the aforementioned teaser was meant to emulate what the Marvel Cinematic Universe does in its own hit films.

Given that Nintendo will definitely showcase their most important games at E3 2019, there's a chance that No More Heroes 3 will be revealed during the company's upcoming Nintendo Direct in June.

Get ready to wander into the game world and embark on a rampage of epic proportions when Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
