Lately, Capcom has been on a roll when it comes to reviving some of their most iconic franchises with Mega Man 11 releasing earlier this month, Devil May Cry V coming out next year, and Resident Evil taking us back to 1998 with the
Resident Evil 2 remake.
Resident Evil 2 will finally be making its long-awaited return this coming January, and the game will be taking players back to Raccoon City and it's foreboding Police Department as they join Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield survive through the night.
One of the many things that the
Resident Evil 2 remake is bringing back, is the alternate costumes for Leon and Claire. While the original game had players meeting certain requirements in order to unlock these special outfits, the
Resident Evil 2 remake will have them available for players who purchase the
Deluxe and Collector's Edition versions of the game, which is somewhat disappointing but not completely unexpected.
Today, the verified
Resident Evil Twitter account gave us a glimpse at Claire Redfield's Military outfit. Claire will also wear a Noir outfit, as well as an Elza Walker biker costume. As a fun fact, Elza Walker was a Raccoon City motorbike racer that was supposed to be one of the main characters in the original
Resident Evil 2, before the developers turned her into Claire.
