While we probably won't see Ada Wong in her iconic red dress in the reimagined Resident Evil 2, Capcom has prepared a special Halloween gift for the fandom. The publisher just announced that all Resident Evil 2 players will have a unique opportunity to unlock Leon and Claire’s classic costumes in-game, for free. It's great news for the fans of the original game that launched twenty years ago.

Just like the original Resident Evil 2, the upcoming remake will feature two extended campaigns to provide players with totally different points of view to the core horror story. The player will experience the game from the perspective of Claire Redfield, the younger sister of BSAA operative and former S.T.A.R.S. member Chris Redfield, and also federal agent for the D.S.O. Leon Kennedy.

Resident Evil 2 producer Tsuyoshi Kanda revealed recently that Capcom is aiming to create a more grounded and believable story in the remake, which also means that Claire Redfield will don a leather jacket and jeans to respect the image of the biker. The fact that you will have an opportunity to change the main heroes' outfits will undoubtedly make many fans happy, so please check it out down below:

The genre-defining masterpiece Resident Evil 2 returns, completely re-built from the ground up for a deeper narrative experience. Using Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine, Resident Evil 2 offers a fresh take on the classic survival horror saga with breathtakingly realistic visuals, heart-poundingly immersive audio, a new over-the-shoulder camera, and modernized controls on top of gameplay modes from the original game.

Resident Evil 2 will return reimagined for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, 2019.
