Earlier this month, we found out that Capcom was recruiting Resident Evil Ambassadors in order to try out a brand-new title in the long-running survival-horror series — although the name of the project was, for obvious reasons, kept a secret.
According to some new infortmation, Capcom will finally be revealing what this mysterious new project is on the 9th of September; just a few days ahead of this year's Tokyo Game Show — which will begin on Wednesday the 11th of September and will end on Sunday the 15th of September.
This secretive
Resident Evil title has been named
Project Resistance, and the developer has revealed that Tokyo Game Show attendees will be able to play the game at the Capcom booth during the event.
Some screenshots for
Project Resistance have also managed to make their way online, suggestingthat the game will be some kind of four-player cooperative game — which is something that Capcom has already done in
Resident Evil Outbreak; a multiplayer game set during the events of
Resident Evil 2 and
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
