The long-awaited remake of Resident Evil 2 will finally be releasing in just over a month, and now we finally know how much hard drive space it will require.

The Microsoft Store recently put up a listing for Resident Evil 2, the Xbox One version, wherein it reveals that the game will take up 21.07GB of hard drive space. Though the size is only confirmed for the Xbox One version, there tends to be little to no difference across consoles - therefore the PlayStation 4 version will also likely be around 21.07GB.

In an age of 200GB games, the likes of Red Dead Redemption 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, such a comparatively small size is very much appreciated, but also surprising given how stunning the game seems to be.

What do you think of the Resident Evil 2's file size? Are you looking forward to the remake?
