Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is already shaping up to be 2023's biggest video game and, if the early buzz is to be believed, it's a game-of-the-year candidate.
Hot Toys, the company responsible for highly detailed 1/6th scale action figures, has already revealed three figures based on the sequel, including Peter Parker in his regular and Symbiote costumes and Miles Morales wearing his updated suit. Based on what happened with 2018's Spider-Man, those will be the first of many releases.
Today, the Hong Kong-based company has confirmed that Venom is also on the way. Promising he'll be a "hulking size," only a glimpse has been shared thus far but he looks absolutely incredible (a movie version is already available but this feels like the Venom that comic book fans have been waiting for).
With any luck, a full look will be shared soon - we're guessing his accessories are somewhat spoilerific - and if you're interested, we'd suggest you start saving now.
In other Spider-Man 2 news, Insomniac's Director, Community and Marketing, James Stevenson has confirmed a New Game Plus mode will be released for the game before the year is over. It won't be ready for launch but the fact it's coming that soon is very exciting.
For those of you unfamiliar with the concept, it means you get to play the game again, albeit with everything you unlocked the first time around - accessories and costumes, for example - right from the start.
Take a closer look at Venom below (it remains to be seen whether he'll be 19 inches tall...).
"Spider-Men Peter Parker and Miles Morales face the ultimate test of strength inside and outside the mask as they fight to save the city, each other, and the ones they love," reads the game's synopsis, "from the monstrous Venom and the dangerous new symbiote threat."
"Explore an expansive Marvel's New York with faster web-swinging and the all-new Web Wings, quickly switching between Peter and Miles to experience different stories, epic new abilities and high-tech gear."
"Wield Peter's symbiote abilities and Miles' explosive bio-electric powers in battle against new and iconic Marvel Super Villains," it continues, "including an original take on a symbiote-infused Venom, the ruthless Kraven the Hunter, the volatile Lizard, and more from the Marvel Rogues' Gallery."
Spider-Man 2 swings into stores on October 20.
