SPIDER-MAN: Take A Closer Look At The Spectacularly Huge Map We'll Get To Explore In The Game

E3 was a lot of fun but an argument could definitely be made that Spider-Man stole the show. Now, a new video reveals just how big the game's map will be and reveals an iconic landmark from the comics...

Insomniac's PS4-exclusive Spider-Man game looks nothing short of spectacular and we've been treated to a lot of big reveals over the past week or so thanks to E3. Now, a new video sheds some light on the scale of the map we'll be able to swing around and it appears as if we may be able to finally travel over the Big Apple's iconic bridges and explore at least a small part of some of New York's other boroughs.

Even more exciting than that, however, is the fact that Avengers Tower is now confirmed to be part of this game. Whether or not that means we'll see members of Earth's Mightiest Heroes call in to help Spidey out remains to be seen but it would be pretty damn awesome to bump into Iron Man here!

Sadly, there doesn't appear to be any sign of the Baxter Building so the cameos we get here will probably be limited to Spider-Man's world and the characters who call the Marvel Cinematic Universe home. That's not necessarily a bad thing but unless Disney manages to get the rights back to the X-Men and Fantastic Four, it will probably be a while before any of those heroes show up in a game.
