Last week 2K Games announced that the critically acclaimed Mafia series was making a comeback in the form of Mafia Trilogy, and that more information would be revealed this week; showing off a teaser in order to get fans of the series excited.
It was also rumoured that Mafia II: Definitive Edition would be releasing on the 19th of May, which is the same day more information about the trilogy would be revealed, and that it would be including all of the downloadable content that had been released for it — although 2K Games didn't confirm this information.
Today 2K Games did indeed reveal more information about the recently announced Mafia Trilogy, including the fact that Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition have just become available for players to purchase today.
For those who may be somewhat confused, Mafia Trilogy consists of remastered versions of Mafia II and Mafia III, and a complete remake of the original Mafia game that released for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC all the way back in 2002.
All three games in the Mafia Trilogy can be purchased as a bundle or individually, although it is worth mentioning that Mafia: Definitive Edition has not become available today, as 2K Games announced that the remake of the first Mafia will be launching on the 28th of August, and that pre-orders are currently available via Mafia Trilogy's official website.
