Bandai Namco has made quite an interesting announcement today, as they revealed that a free update for CyberConnect2's recently released Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot; adding a new sub quest, and giving players access to Trunks' Time Machine.

First things first, this new sub quest is crossing over Akira Toriyama's very own Dr. Slump with Dragon Ball Z — where players will have to assist Dr. Slump titular characters Arale and Gatchan; a great way to celebrate two of Toriyama's most well-known series.

Now, an even more interesting addition that this free update is bringing to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is Trunks' Time Machine, which will allow players to travel back in time to previous arcs and complete any sub quests that they may have missed — which is actually something that should've been available on day 1, but is nice to finally have.

While Bandai Namco didn't reveal exactly when this free update will become available, what they did do was share a few screenshots that show off Trunks, his Time Machine, as well as Arale and Gatchan, so don't forget to check them out down below.
