Adult Swim and Soleil announced earlier this year that they were working on an all-new video game based on the popular Samurai Jack series in the form of Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, which would be releasing on home consoles and PC later this year.
The developers didn't give us an official release date for Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, but the announcement trailer was more than enough to get fans of the series excited for the game — especially because the time-travelling premise alone was already quite exciting.
A few weeks ago, the developers released an action-packed gameplay trailer that finally revealed that Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time would be releasing on Friday the 21st of August, which is actually today.
Today, and as the game has finally released on home consoles and PC, Adult Swim has released a rather unusual launch trailer, which sees voice actor John DiMaggio — the man that brought The Scotsman to life in the Samurai Jack series — revealing some interesting details about his work on Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time.
Interestingly enough, DiMaggio also, and quite eloquently, gives players a bunch of good reasons why they shouldn't sleep on this game, and why they should already be playing Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time. Plus, come on, The Scotsman is back, and that alone is a pretty good reason to get the game.
