After being pushed back for almost an entire year, developer and publisher Spike Chunsoft finally released
AI: The Somnium Files — their brand-new mystery adventure title — last month on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC(Steram).
From the trailers alone, it isn't obvious exactly what kind of game
AI: The Somnium Files really is, but just recently the developer has announced that the game is getting a playable demo for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch; giving players on the fence about purchasing this game the chance to try it out for themselves.
Spike Chunsoft did specificy, however, that this demo is only going to be available for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The developer apologises to fans, since the demo isn't available for PC version.
Another thing worth keeping in mind is that the save data for the demo and the full game are separate, meaning that whatever progress players make in the demo cannot be transferred to the full version of
AI: The Somnium Files.
The mind never lies... In a near-future Tokyo, detective Kaname Date is on the case of a mysterious serial killer. Date must investigate crime scenes as well as dreams on the hunt for clues.
AI: The Somnium Files is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC(Steam).
