After the
Alice: Madness Returns underperformance, many fans of the series and American McGee have been asking him to make a third game and conclude the twisted history of Alice. It looks like Electronic Arts, the owner of the rights to the series, is not interested in making games that are focused on single-player experiences, so McGee decided to take things into his own hands.
The artists used Steam to let the community and fans know that he's ready to talk to EA to produce the third game, known as
Alice Asylum. "
Dear Insane Children. Did you know that we are currently putting together a proposal to licence Alice from EA and to independently create a 3rd Alice game? Well now you know :) Tentatively titled Alice Asylum, this will take place before the events of American McGee's Alice and before Wonderland is fully corrupted".
But McGee can't do it alone. So what can you do help the developer to regain the rights?
1) Go to
www.americanmcgee.com and you will see a handy list of 4 things to do, from supporting our Patreon to simply signing up to our Alice 3 mailing list.
2) Spread the word via your social media channels to everyone you think might be interested. Share this post, share the pictures, tell the world, shout it from the rooftops.
