EA continues to tease new content for
Apex Legends, with the latest coming from Tina Sanchez, a producer at Respawn Entertainment.
Last week, Sanchez posted two behind-the-scenes photos from what looks like a mo-cap session. She teased,
"Working on Apex Legends stuff."
The vague tweet has led to speculation that Sanchez photos scould be our first hint at the next
Apex Legends character. There's not much to go on except for the actor's pose and use of a cane.
In attempting to decypher who it could be, fans turned to
the datamining from March which leaked 10 new Legends. While EA warned fans that the content was "very old," two of the characters in the leak have since been released in the game: Octane and, most recently, Wattson. One fan predicted the actor could be portraying Crypto, to which Tina Sanchez
posted an interesting reply.
Apex Legends is currently in the middle of its second season with the third slated to begin in September. It's likely that this new character won't be released until then. EA also recently teased that Respawn is gearing up to launch an in-game event that'll bring "one of the most fan-requested features" into the battle royale game.
