Arkane Studios basically stole the show during Bethesda's E3 conference. This is of course the studio behind such hits as
Dishonoured and
Prey. The Lyon, France based game developer announced their new IP:
Deathloop.
Deathloop takes place on a lawless island by the name of Blackreef, its developers describing its setting as a "time of madness." The game features two protagonists named Julianna and Colt.
The announcement trailer for Deathloop revealed these two time-travelling assassins going at it, attempting to take down each other and others using a plethora of weaponary and supernatural abilities.
The player's role is unclear, exactly what the gameplay is like is unclear, it's release date is unknown. But I'll be damned if its trailer wasn't a funky, stylish, and awesome sight. Check out said trailer (via
