There is an interesting video game making the rounds on Kickstarter today known as Bleak Faith. The game is dubbed as a brutal open-world survival horror action RPG. The game appears to take inspiration from the likes of Bloodborne and the Souls franchise.
From the videos we've seen, the game does look impressive, though it's early days right now, and as such, anything could change before release.
The description of the game according to the developer:
A third-person open-world survival horror action RPG set in a universe you've never experienced before. Play as one of the Forsaken, the last frontier of humanity against the growing horrors of the Omnistructure. As you find yourself stranded in a faraway outpost, you must adapt in order to survive. The world won't wait for you though, you must venture into the unknown - your faith will decide your fate.
The plan right now is to have the game released on Steam in Early Access by the 4th quarter of 2019, and a full release between the first and second quarter of 2020. As it stands, the team is aiming for the PC platform, but the intention is there to support both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at a later date.
At the time of writing, 191 backers pledged $21,475 of the $30,000 required. There are only nine days left to go, which should be more than enough to meet all the goals.
