Gearbox has revealed the first campaign add-on for
Borderlands 3 and, surprise, it's all about scoring loot. Arriving next month,
Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot will see players join Moxxi's ragtag crew of "experts" and head to Handsome Jack's casino to pull of the ultimate heist.
"This heist, it's personal," Moxxi says, setting up the plot of the upcoming campaign add-on.
"He stole my designs to build this place. Taking it back is scratching him out of my books forever."
Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot promises new, unique zones that reflect Handsome Jack's lavish lifestyle and dirty dealings. Players will encounter Hyperion security forces and crazed casino-goers while blasting their way to a safe filled with the biggest score of your loot-hunting career; Eridium, cash, and all-new Legendary loot is promised. Also specifically mentioned are new Vault Hunter Heads and Skins, Weapon Trinkets, an ECHO Device Skin, and new Emotes.
