It seems that Bandai Namco and developer Tamsoft are going all out to make players excited for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions, as every little bit of information they share about the upcoming arcade-style football game reveal just how fun this new title will be.
While the developers still haven't revealed the official release date for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions, everything they have shown off gives us the impression that the game could be releasing at some point in Q1 or even Q2 of this year; the developers reassure, however, that it will come out this year.
Fans of the Captain Tsubasa series, be it the original manga/anime or the most recent iteration, are definitely counting the days until the game finally becomes available, but the developers still aren't done revealing new information about it.
We have known for a while that Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions would be featuring an episode called "New Hero", in which players will create an avatar and join one the football team of their choice. Today, Bandai Namco has released a new trailer that digs deeper into this new mode.
