Originally,
Agony was supposed to launch on March 30, 2018, but Mad Mind Studio had decided to delay the game to support every gamer with "
the best possible experience." First-person horror is out tomorrow as the small team of only 9 developers who previously worked on
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, Tom Clancy's The Division, and
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has finally finished developing
Agony.
Some players already have a chance to check out the disturbing FPS as PC Master Race Latinoamérica has posted his walkthrough on YouTube. The video features the first ten minutes of
Agony, in which our protagonist, Amraphel enters the world where the demonic Red Queen rules. Poor Amraphel has only two advantages over the hordes of devils - the special ability to control people and other creatures on your path, and even possess simple minded demons and an astral link that shows you the right path.
The solo campaign is not everything
Agony has to offer, as the game will also give you a chance to compete with other players in the
Agony mode, which is a multiplayer mode in which you will interact with other lost souls in the procedurally generated environment. Mad Mind plans to release a free patch to remove the censorship on PC for those who want an even more horrifying experience.
Agony is a first-person survival horror game currently in development. Players will begin their journey as tormented soul within the depths of hell without any memories about his past. The special ability to control people on their path, and even possess simple minded demons, gives the player the necessary measures to survive in the extreme conditions they are in. By exploring hostile environment and interacting with the other weary souls of the hellscape, the hero will soon understand that there is only one way to escape from Hell, and it will require a meeting of the mystical Red Goddess.
Agony will be released on May 29, 2018 across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
