Yesterday, Square Enix debuted a new gameplay story trailer for the upcoming
Just Cause 4, which gave us some more information regarding the fictional South American country of Solis, as well as teasing us with some new information regarding Rico's past.
Today, the official
Just Cause YouTube channel has released a brand new video breaking down yesterday's trailer; featuring a few more details that spectators may have overlooked when watching the trailer for the first time.
The first detail that we may have missed is the fact that the trailer opens with a scene that features Gabriela Morales, the game's big baddie, who seems to be reporting to a mysterious man in the shadows. Perhaps hinting at this person being the real bad guy and Gabriela is just a pawn in all of this. Another interesting detail is that Sheldon is back working with Rico, even after he betrayed Rico in the previous game; making us question if he can be trusted or not.
Mira was also introduced in the trailer, and she will be helping Rico gather an army of chaos to take on the Black Hand organisation led by Gabriela Morales. Taking notes from
Just Cause 3, the new game may possibly have Rico liberating prisoners to join his just cause(I'm not sorry).
The video does offer some more, and interesting details so be sure to check it out:
Welcome to Solis, a huge South American world home of conflict, oppression and extreme weather conditions. Just Cause 4 sees rogue hero Rico Rodriguez land in Solis to hunt down the truth about his past, at any costs.
Just Cause 4 will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 4th of December.
